  • Poetry/Short Prose/Flash Fiction – 1 to 3 poems (or up to 10 haiku, tanka, or other forms of micro poetry, 5 lines or less), no longer than two pages each.  1 to 2 monologues/spoken word (no longer than 3 minutes) are permissible. Please include all material in one message in the contact form. 1 to 2 prose pieces, 1,000 words maximum (per piece).

  • Music FIRST, use the contact form to tell us about you and the song(s) you’d like to submit. How does it fit in with our vibe? We’re drawn to pieces that evoke depth of feeling, tell a story and yes, we are partial to jazz. But quality will always win out. Do not send us the music in your initial contact message. If accepted, we will ask for an .mp3 version of the music in the second round.

  • THE FINE PRINT:

We ask and require first time broadcast worldwide rights and free licensing permission for our presentation of accepted pieces. Creators will retain all rights to their words and music. THE ROSE THEATRE Co. will retain all rights to their production of the content submitted. Please note that all submissions are voluntary and unpaid. By submitting to us, you simultaneously agree to the above stated permission and licensing guidelines.

At this time, we only consider submissions sent through our contact form under the guidelines above (word.doc or .pdf formats will not be considered). Unsolicited, or emailed submissions will also not be considered.

By submitting to us, you simultaneously agree to our stated permission and licensing guidelines found in the “fine print.”

All submissions should begin with a brief cover paragraph in the contact form, of no more than a 50 words, telling us about you and the piece you are submitting. Due to the large volume of submissions we receive we can only respond to accepted submissions. Please allow up to three months for a response for accepted pieces.

Pieces previously produced on any podcast, Instagram or you tube channels will not be considered.
